Chris is a writer / director based in the north of England; always pushing to create things that he would enjoy and strive to have his work seen in as many circles as he can. He originally developed the idea for Linton Pictures during his time as a Fellow of the Digital City Innovation Scheme at Teeside University. The organisation was designed to primarily work in commercial and promotional film production, however Chris' main passions are drama and fiction; be it writing in prose form or as a writer / director for screen and theatre.

Since graduating the Film Production BA at Northumbria University, Chris has directed three short films, one of which he wrote. His largest drama project to date; The Sanctuary, is his first to have substantial external backing. At the 2014 Southampton International Film Festival, the film was nominated for the Best Sound Design and Best Horror / Thriller awards. The film is currently pending its final entries for the 2016 round of film festivals before it becomes available online. Chris' graduation film Sim has been screened in short collections in several cinemas around the UK; including the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the Showroom in Sheffield and the Curzon in Soho, London. His second film, Bed & Breakfast also encountered similar shorts collection success.

In addition to the drama in film, Chris also works to produce various other creative projects as a freelance artist; be that with Linton Pictures, or with Twenty Seven Productions. As well as the commercial film making, he has also directed a feature length theatrical show (Sarah Daniels' The Gut Girls) and directed a two series documentary for MADE Television.

Luke is a sound production specialist based in Sheffield. He primarily records, designs and mixes sound for audio dramas, with renowned production companies such as Big Finish. He also works in film and video production, animation and other installation and artistic works.
